My name is Fatima Khokhar and this will be my second year as a primary guide at Discovery. I graduated in June 2010 from the Montessori institute of Atlanta. I grew up in Seattle, WA and as a teenager in our nation’s capital. I studied Arabic at the Abu Nour University in Damascus Syria. In my almost seven years in the Atlanta area I have worked and volunteered in various educational endeavors with children of all ages as camp counselor, substitute teacher, story teller, and self development programs with teenagers. As a trained doula(labor assistant) I have had the honor of assisting 5 births! I reside in East Atlanta with my husband, Mansoor, my two beautiful children, Maymuna and Ayub, and our cat Tutu.
