This environment is geared towards the developmental needs of the Toddler. It promotes independence and self-discipline. The activities (work) are self-correcting and have different levels of difficulty. Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Art, Music, Fine and Gross Motor movement are areas worked on in this classroom. Each child has the freedom to develop at his/her own pace.
Ms. Bethany Collazo is the Guide in this community, assisted by Ms. Quinn Fortune and Ms. Ambar Estevez. Ms. Ambar is bi-lingual, and speaks Spanish throughout the day with the children.
